"Big light"

The Bulklight, formerly named Spotlight (based from its former Admin Panel name[1]) is an item that can be found in The Mines. It can be purchased from the Pre-Run Shop for 150 Knobs, be found in containers throughout The Mines, or be bought in the Jeff Shop for 300 Gold. You can also bring it to The Hotel if you store it in the Rift at the beginning or end of The Mines.
Appearance[]
It appears as a big yellow industrial flashlight. It is shaped like a heptagon and has a handle with a black-colored switch attached to it.
Usage[]
The Bulklight is a powerful light source. It has a large battery that lasts 2 minutes on a full charge, and a large cone of light, which emits more light than the flashlight and straplight.
It can be used to temporarily stun the Giggles, and it used to blind and slow down Grumbles to approximately half the speed and the Queen Grumble (before the Content Update) will be slowed to a normal Grumble's speed. (Note that the Queen Grumble may still outrun the Player.)

- Larger directional cone of light.
- Longer range and brighter than Flashlight.
- Lasts 2 minutes, lasting the same amount of time as the Flashlight.
- Can stun Giggles and slow down Grumbles at very far.
- Guaranteed in both the Pre-Run Shop and Jeff's Shop.
- Great light source for multiplayer.
Cons[]
- Batteries only add up 30 seconds to its fuel time. (2/8 bar)
- Can randomly flicker and turn off by itself, causing Figure to hear it.
- Causes Gloombats to attack when left on.
- Currently the most expensive item in the Pre-Run Shop, costing 150 knobs.

Bugs[]
- Grumbles and Queen Grumble are unable to be blinded with Bulklight or Flashlight. This bug started happening since The Content Update. (Patched in the Great Outdoors update)
- Prior to The Great Outdoors Update, Figure was unable to hear Bulklights. This was fixed after.
Trivia[]
- The filename for the Bulklight refers to it as a flashlight skin.
- The developers often do this to hide the fact that it is actually an item.
- Bulklight was formerly referred to as Handheld Flashlight by the community due to the Bulklight having a handle.
- In the trailer, albeit barely seen, it appeared 3 times, most of them being dropped on the floor.
- The Bulklight is currently the most expensive pre-run shop item in the game.
- The Bulklight might be a reference to the Flashlight in Ragdoll Universe, as they have a roughly similar behavior and appearance,[2]
- The Spotlight was originally referred to as the Bulklight, as seen in The Mines' Pre-Run Shop.
- Bulklight is likely an oversight. [3]
- But as of The Great Outdoors Update, it has been changed to Bulklight resolving the name confusion
- The Bulklight can also be obtained trading with Louie.
- The Bulklight has a guaranteed chance to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Starlight Jug.
- The Bulklight has a chance of 50% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Starlight Bottle or a Moonlight Candle.
- The Bulklight has a chance of 33.33% to be dropped when using a Crucifix against Louie.
- The Bulklight has a chance of 33.33% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Skeleton Key, Shears or a Gween Soda.
- The Bulklight has a chance of 25% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Starlight Vial, an Alarm Clock, a Laser Pointer, a Shakelight or a Smoothie.
