Cheese is an edible item found within The Mines. It's only obtainable through Louie, either by crucifying it or simply trading with it.

Cheese is an triangular cheese with holes and tiny bumps, which represents the stereotypized cheese, which is shown in cartoons.

Cheese can be used to immediately replenish 45 health points to the player.

This item was first revealed in The Content Update trailer.
Cheese acts the exact same as the Bread, healing the exact same amount of health and even having the same sound effect. The only difference between the items is their looks.
The chance of getting Cheese when trading with Louie depends on the item you give Louie.
- Cheese has a chance of 50% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Glowstick, a Candle, a Lighter or a Tip Jar.
- Cheese has a chance of 33.33% to be dropped when using a Crucifix against Louie.
