The Gween Soda is an edible item found within The Mines. It's only obtainable by either crucifying or just trading with Louie.

Appearance[]

The Gween Soda is a dark-green soda can that is seemingly dented out of shape. A lime-yellow lightning bolt is drawn on the front of the can, with the words "GWEEN SoDA" written in white.

Usage[]

Upon use, it regenerates a total of 100 health over time for ~33.8 seconds, but will turn the player green. It also provides a ~27.7-second speed boost that slowly decays.

Notes[]

When taking damage and drinking a Gween Soda, the damage bar will pause until the health regeneration ends.
Drinking dozens of Gween Sodas while the effect of the previously drinked Gween Soda will not stack the effects.

Regenerates 100 HP in total.
Provides a small, temporary speed boost.
Turns the player green and their vision green. This vision effect helps the screen become slightly less dark.

Cons[]

Takes ~33.8 seconds to regenerate.
You need to sacrifice an item or use a crucifix before getting the Gween Soda.

Trivia[]

The Gween Soda was first revealed in The Content Update trailer.
The Gween Soda is based on soda like Bepis, Loca Cola, and the Sprout Cranberry from RAGDOLL UNIVERSE.
- In The Great Outdoors Update, the Gween Soda received a skin called "Loco Cola", with Chromas based on the flavors listed above.
The Gween Soda has a very similar effect to the Candy "You Finally Turn Green".
- The badge for drinking Gween Soda also has the same name as the mentioned Candy.
The chance of getting the Gween Soda when trading with Louie depends on the item you give Louie.
- Gween Soda is guaranteed to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Starlight Jug, this is the only way to secure Louie drops this item.
- Gween Soda has a chance of 50% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Moonlight Candle or a Starlight Bottle.
- Gween Soda has a chance of 33.33% to be dropped when using a Crucifix against Louie.
- Gween Soda has a chance of 33.33% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Skeleton Key, Shears or a Spotlight.
- Gween Soda has a chance of 25% to be dropped by Louie when giving them a Starlight Vial, a Shakelight, a Laser Pointer, a Smoothie or an Alarm Clock.
If a Gween Soda is consumed while the boosts from a previous Gween Soda are still active, the Gween Soda will have absolutely no effect.
- Wait for the healing and the speed boost of the Gween Soda to finish before consuming another one or it will have no effect at all.
The "You Finally Turn Green" achievement that is obtained after drinking a Gween Soda is a reference to the Smiling Friends episode named "Pim Finally Turns Green".
