Stardust[1] is a currency in DOORS that is obtainable from containers, Achievements, Codes, and by purchasing it with Robux
.

Stardust is a cluster of golden-yellow dust that emits a bright golden light. In its icon, It has a pink outline along with Curious Light's symbol above it.
Overview[]
Stardust is used to create custom elevators to The Rooms and The Outdoors and to buy Chromas of Item Skins.

- Stardust can be obtained through completing certain achievements as a one-time reward.
- Stardust can be obtained by purchasing it from the in-game store for Robux.
Trivia[]
- Stardust is connected to Curious Light, much like how Starlight is.
- This is evidenced by its name, symbol, and the fact that it emits the same particles and yellow light as other Starlight items.
- Stardust cannot spawn if progress is disabled, either via certain modifiers or doing a run with 9+ players.
- The first Stardust teaser, claimed it will "solve two issues at once".[2]
- The first issue is creating subfloor elevators, specifically for The Rooms and The Outdoors.
- The second issue is likely relating to item skins, as Stardust can be used to purchase Chroma item skins.
- The first Stardust teaser announced a challenge to guess its name, saying that the first person to guess correctly will be awarded with 1000 of the currency when the update releases.
- The name of the new currency was correctly guessed by @Nova3Dusk on Twitter/X.
- The first use revealed for Stardust was creating an elevator to The Rooms and The Outdoors, costing 10 Stardust per elevator.
- In both The Rooms and The Outdoors, you will be charged Stardust when you open the first door.
- The placeholder name for Stardust was named "Kroner", back when its name was still a secret. This name is very likely a reference to the game Pressure, as the currency there bears the same name.
- When purchasing Stardust with Robux, if you do not receive it you need to rejoin for it to register. This is likely a bug.
- Finding Stardust in a container have the same sound effect as winning in BATTLE MODE.
- If Stardust is collected in multiplayer, all alive players will receive it.
- Stardust in-game has an invisible square behind it. This can be seen when in the dark as the light that's emitted won't shine through it.
