The Great Outdoors Update is a major update of DOORS released on August 10th, 2025. This update added The Outdoors, Stardust, Item Skins, changes to Lobby, and much more.

- Added The Outdoors which can be accessed in Door 90 and Door 99.
- Added new items:
- Added 8 new achievements.
- A Bone To Pick; Open a Skull Lock with a Skeleton Key.
- Feed The Birds; Feed Bread to a Caw.
- Picking Flowers; Have Grampy create a Lotus Flower for you.
- Rebirth; Revive using a planted Lotus.
- Detour; Enter a subfloor.
- The old Detour badge has been renamed to Roomy.
- The same applies to the achievement description, which has been changed from "I think I'm lost." to "How gloomy!".
- The old Detour badge has been renamed to Roomy.
- Touched Grass; Enter the Outdoors through the Hotel.
- Down The Water Spout; Escape the Outdoors.
- Do'h!; Find and eat a Donut.
- Added some changes to Lobby.

- Made some achievements give you rewards (Knobs, Revives and Stardust).

- The Lobby Shop has been reformulated.

- Added some new side-rooms in The Hotel with other sub-rooms inside.
- Added the bathroom sub-room in The Hotel.
- Skeleton Key now has 5 uses instead of one.
- Using it on a Skull Lock will take up 4 uses.
- You can now create an elevator for The Rooms in Lobby, costing 10 Stardust to create.
- Creating an elevator for The Outdoors will be free until August 25, 2025. (Time has passed)
- Admin Panel is now available in subfloors.
- Gave the Candle more durability.
- The candle is now guaranteed to appear before The Library in The Hotel.
- Gave the Moonlight Candle infinite durability.
- Added the Backpack feature, for listing the item skins you've unlocked.
- Fixed a visual bug, where some L-Shaped rooms in The Hotel have a different wallpaper texture.[2]
- Falling bookshelves in The Hotel now use the current model of bookshelves. (Not changed in Seek's Chases)
- Added Item skins. They are purchasable using Knobs, with Chromas costing Stardust.
- Rift will now appear mid-run behind skull-locked doors and can be unlocked using the Skeleton Key.
- The Lobby Shop can now be accessed during a run, just like the Backpack.
- Added back the 4-way minecart room in The Mines.
- El Goblino now has a mouth animation moving when he talks.
- Eyes and Ambush now have a much brighter aura.
- Ambush now shakes the screen a lot upon its arrival in The Mines.
- Now Sally will spawn, attack the player and take their health (if no item is given to her) even with God Mode activated.
- It is now possible to use the Crucifix on node entities with God Mode enabled.
- Changed locks on The Rooms entrance to have Curious Light's symbol on them.
- A-60's arrival sound was made louder.
Removed Content[]
- "It Can Run Too" modifier has been removed, because it was broken and didn't affect Seek's speed at all.
- However, a more likely reason is because Seek's speed was reduced in this update.[3]

- Fixed a bug where Stardust wasn't purchasable.
- Removed Lotus Flower from Admin Panel
- Compass is no longer available in the The Outdoors Pre-Run Shop
August 12th, 2025 (Second Patch)[]
- Fixed a bug where Modifiers capped at +50%. (Now caps at +150%)
- Removed sensitivity option from Game Settings. The game now uses the Roblox Sensitivity options.
- Fixed some other bugs.
August 14th, 2025 (Third Patch)[]
- Fixed a bug leading to Overview Screen failing to load data, also failing to reward knobs.
- Added a warning for modified runs that lets you know that you can't progress through subfloors or future floors.
- Fixed a bug where "Around Back" achievement not being awarded.
- The "HOTEL-", "SUPER HARD MODE!!!", "Survive The Drakobloxxers" and "Again & Again & Again" Modifiers are now currently under maintenance.
