The Sewage Cells is a location in The Sewers. It is a vastly large room that is usually rare to encounter.
Overview[]
The Sewage Cells contain an extensive number of interconnected rooms that form a maze-like structure. These rooms include manholes, Sewers and Mines sub-rooms, and medium-long tunnels. Most significantly, cell-like structures spawn frequently throughout. The location also contains a waterfall, which is guaranteed to spawn.
Notes[]
- The Sewage Cells may generate up to more than twenty connected rooms, contributing to the maze-like environment.
- The Sewage Cells is quite rare to encounter during a player's run in The Mines.
- Majority of the rooms in The Sewage Cells are flooded, so players are prone to drowning.
- Ladders may also spawn in The Sewage Cells.
- Sub-rooms are extremely common in The Sewage Cells. Which may lead to players getting equipped a lot easier than in other rooms.
- The Sewage Cells is considered the 'Speed-Runner's Nightmare Room' of The Mines, due to its difficulty of navigation.
- The Sewage Cells most commonly spawn just before The Sewage Pipes, and on Door 199, based on footage evidence.
Counterpart[]
When entering the Jeff Shop in The Mines, players will encounter an area very similar to that of The Sewage Cells, but with decorations such as lights and boxes, and also containers and lockers. It even features the waterfall, and has a guaranteed lush sideroom. Overall, this room is always guaranteed to spawn.
Notes[]
- Giggle can spawn in this room.
- An Alarm Clock can spawn in this room, near the waterfall.
Bugs[]
- There may be chunks of walls missing in The Sewage Cells, allowing the players to see the outside of the map and the skybox.
- Rarely, a bug may appear where multiple doors overlap spawning in the same place leading to the same sub-room, causing an extremely loud noise when opening them at the same time.
