The Woods are a special location in The Mines. It is a forest that players walk through after escaping The Dam. It is also the last zone in The Mines.

Overview[]

After climbing up the manhole completing The Dam, players walk through the woods, they eventually stumble upon Floor 3. Interacting with the door plays the final cutscene.

The Woods are a large forest with a gravel path with many trees. The back of the Woods contains the Rift. Players have to walk to a bridge to get to Floor 3.

This is the last place you will currently encounter during your run.

Cutscene[]

After walking through the woods, players will see a castle like structure. Once they open the huge door, the cutscene plays. The Queen Grumble will suddenly appear behind the player, approaching them, but before it can attack, a black hand will appear behind the Queen Grumble and grab it. Then, a black goo covers the Queen Grumble whole as it screams and gets engulfed by the goo. After that, Seek emerges from the goo, with the door shutting close and the words "To be continued" seen on the screen. The player has completed The Mines.

Trivia[]

The Woods are technically a part of The Dam, although it's also a transition between The Mines and Floor 3.
Any items dropped on the ground will appear in the cutscene.
- Glowsticks thrown on the ground will still light up, and Alarm Clocks that were placed down will ring as well if timed correctly.
A meat pile from Figure is beside Floor 3, which could imply Figure will play a larger role in Floor 3, although this is purely speculation.
Queen Grumble and Seek are also under the map if you fly through, and when the cutscene ends, they will go back to their original spot.
